There are many things we can do that can help us grow in our relationship with Christ, with the Church, and with the Community around us. Over the years we’ve found that a few key practices tend to have a big impact for almost everyone.
If you want to grow in the 3 C’s but you aren’t sure where to start, we would suggest picking from some of the things listed below.

Growing in Our Relationship with Christ
To help people grow in their relationship with Christ we encourage people to develop a rhythm of personal spiritual practices (things like reading the Bible, fasting, and praying) and to make it a priority to attend church services regularly.

While many things can help you grow in your relationship with Christ, we encourage people to start by focusing on two things: developing personal spiritual practices and regularly attending church services.
Personal Spiritual Practices
As Mike mentioned in the video above, there are 3 practices that we recommend you start with: reading the Bible, prayer, and journaling.
Feel free to use the 30 day reading plan mentioned in the video. We also have mentors available to talk through the content weekly if that would be helpful.
Our prayer resources include a brochure on what prayer is that can be very helpful, and we've also included another resource that can give you a framework for prayer.
One of the advantages to journaling is that it can get the content from your head and heart onto paper and give clarity to your process. There are many types of journaling tools available, but we’ve just included one option for you to use to get started.

More Growth Opportunities
As you continue to live out the full and free life (John 10:10), we encourage you to explore more personal spiritual practices to connect to Jesus. Also, sometimes the full and free life has some bumps, so we encourage you to pay attention to your whole life (Mark 12:30) which may include looking at your mental, emotional, or physical needs closer.
Growing in Our Relationship with the Church
To help people grow in their relationship with the local church we encourage people to find a place where they can serve alongside others here and to join a small group of people that can be an encouraging community for them.

Growing in Our Relationship with the Community
To help people grow in their relationship with the local community we encourage people to find ways to identify the real needs in the community around us and then work to meet those needs in Jesus’ name. As we build relationships with people in the community we believe that will help us earn the right to share God’s love with them by using our stories to help point them towards the love of Jesus.
